Initial training in Anaesthesia in India; MD in Anaesthesia from Mysore University, India
After Cardiac Anaesthesia training joined the faculty in Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute (Deemed University) in Chennai, India as a Consultant in Cardiac Anaesthesia.
After arriving in the U.K in 1998, underwent further training in Anaesthesia, Critical Care, Cardiac Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia including Ultrasound guided nerve blocks.
Obtained Fellowship to the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London; UK
